Let’s face it: nobody likes being locked down. But times like this do make you realize how important music is for all of us. On the first day of lockdown startup company Upperbloom opened their business in subscriptions for balcony plants. Where they had been aiming on businesses in Amsterdam, they had to change focus to consumers now that everyone worked from home. And since the news was filled with Italians singing from their balconies, they decided they needed music for their message. That’s how we came to do an impressive series of balcony concerts with Upperbloom. Only the light edition, so no drums and no saxophone. Amazing to keep playing! Later on we did a similar project for Mooof at several locations in the the Hague Binckhorst area.
